Kdp Killed!

Just finished installing the special tabbed washer from TST. Those guys are great, and the instructions are superb. It took about six hours start to finish, I spent about an hour of that time cleaning the parts that I took off, and other would be hard to reach places on the engine. I highly reccomend TST's product!

The hardest part of my Kill was getting the washer fluid bottle off.

Good job, well done.

Have you seen the thread of the damage that .03 cent pin can cause?

So now the question I have to all of you that have done this, What is the build date of your trucks and did you check the cover to see if you already had the updated one? With this info maybe we can start to pinpoint when the updated covers were put into use.

Damage has been reported on engines from '94-'99. The new cover was introduced in '98 but stockpiles of old covers were in the mix until '99.
The only way to know for sure is to remove the cover.
