Ok still keeping after the steering upgrades on this truck so I had CJC Offroad send me out the Synergy Mfg adjustable trac bar and bracket as well as the PS gear box brace. Both nice beefy units went on fine but when it was time for the alignment the adjuster sleeves to the steering link and drag link seized. 4 hours of banging , wrenching and heat failed to free them so I called it at that point. The plan now is to wait to finish the steering upgrade until Synergy comes out with their HD steering upgrade kit for 99-02. I have spoken several times to the designers and folks at Synergy and the first production run is under way. so I shouldn't have to wait too long for them to release to vendors for sale. In the meantime I will use this time to get the truck into the frame shop to have the underside of the cargo bed and the frame blasted, repaired and POR-15'd. I should be able to get some pics once that process is underway.
