*** Welcome to the site ***

Now you going to have to fill in your signature so we know what we are working with...

But just for a wild guess you might have a vacuum problem.... Most of all the vent controls are ran on vacuum...

The heater is not working, but you have heat at the heater core.
Do you mean your fan isn't working?

So you have heat at the core, but no hot air blows when you have your hand down there with the door open?
I think that the vacuum port has come off, and is not allowing the full flow of the hot coolant through the heater core.

I believe there are 2 doors on there..... One for the temp control and one for the Max AC function.... Maybe the one isnt moving.... There should be a cable that opens and shuts the temp. vent door... Maybe there is something wrong with it?

All the Max A/C door does is take the air from inside the cab and recirculates it. When the **** is in any other position, it takes fresh air form the outside.

According to the FSM for 2001 Dodge its the blend door that controls the temp.

The engine cooling system.

maybe vent door is staying in open position. or valve for fluid is not opening all the way. or engine temp is staying too cool from stuck open thermostat.

There is no control valve on the coolant flow... The heater core get constant flow of coolant. But if the blend door is stuck in the cold postion (which allows the air to bypass the heater core) then you'll get NO HEAT!

if----? the 99 temp *** set up is like 95, the rotating **** moves a cable to move the blend door. look on heater AC housing, maybe clip came off. if blend door, like mopar says, is stuck in cold position you are going to get no heat. removing the heater AC housing would be a real bear.
