My heater is not working at all. I checked the coolant level and it is good, also checked the heater core and it gets hot and coolant still flows in and out. Someone help me before it gets realy cold.

Now you going to have to fill in your signature so we know what we are working with...
But just for a wild guess you might have a vacuum problem.... Most of all the vent controls are ran on vacuum...

So you have heat at the core, but no hot air blows when you have your hand down there with the door open?
I think that the vacuum port has come off, and is not allowing the full flow of the hot coolant through the heater core.

I believe there are 2 doors on there..... One for the temp control and one for the Max AC function.... Maybe the one isnt moving.... There should be a cable that opens and shuts the temp. vent door... Maybe there is something wrong with it?

According to the FSM for 2001 Dodge its the blend door that controls the temp.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL
If the heater outlet air temperature cannot be adjusted with the temperature control **** on the a/c heater control panel, the following could require service:
² A faulty a/c heater control.
² A faulty blend door actuator.
² A faulty, obstructed or improperly installed
blend door.
² An obstructed cowl air intake.
² The engine cooling system.

There is no control valve on the coolant flow... The heater core get constant flow of coolant. But if the blend door is stuck in the cold postion (which allows the air to bypass the heater core) then you'll get NO HEAT!
well the heater core is very hot too touch and both coolant hoses are hot and about the same temp, the truck temp guage reads about 180. the one door i found is the max ac door where can i find the other one to check it. when i turn the temp **** nothing happens, no sound, almost like it isn't hooked up
if----? the 99 temp *** set up is like 95, the rotating **** moves a cable to move the blend door. look on heater AC housing, maybe clip came off. if blend door, like mopar says, is stuck in cold position you are going to get no heat. removing the heater AC housing would be a real bear.
