hose clamps on tailgate cable

i remember reading about putting hose clamps on the cables to slow someone down from stealing it. I got around to doing it and it is a good idea hopefully someone trying to steal it wont know to have a flathead screwdriver , and if they do it will still slow them down a lot. thanks fellas

Actually it was putting a hose clamp around the pivot on the passenger side where you have to lift to pull the tailgate off.
