hi beams quit working!!?

Well my truck threw a curve ball this morning. Got in the truck and noticed my hi beam indicator light on the dash was on...key was not even in the ignition. Turn the truck on and the light is still on. I then turn the headlights on and the light goes off. I drive to school and when i came back out at 7:30 pm, the darn hi beam light was on..i could see it from out side the truck.

So i turn the truck on and flip on the lights, then i hit the high beams and then my lights turned off. So low beams work great, as soon as i turn the high beams on, nothing, they turn off.

Drove to my place of work, autozone, grabbed a multi function switch...nope that didnt fix it, grabbed a new headlight switch...still did not fix it.

Got out my old headlight bulbs and swapped them and the same issue is still there.

I am stumped and ready to pull my hair out. I ckecked all the fuses. Oh btw i do not have fog lamps.

help me please!!!

Sounds like bad wiring. The blue light is signaling that there is a problem with the light circuit such as a bulb out. With the low beam working and nothing on the high side I would be looking for a cut wire somewhere. As I recall the ground is common to both sets of lights so it should be a power wire or connector. I had the same problem a year ago and cant remember what I did to fix it. Good luck

Kiss ! Kiss ! check all fuses 1st ! I have had truly WEIRD things happen and all it was , was a blown fuse ( some how it back feeds ) .
Then relay circuit.
