Help!!!

I have a 99 Dodge 2500 and have a brake issue. The brakes pulsate every time that you hit the brakes. I have replaced the rotors, calipers, and the pads on both sides. Also put a new whel bearing on the drivers side. I took the drums off the back and everything seems to be ok, i took the drums in and had them machined even though the said they were out 6 or 7. What else is there that make the brakes pulsate?

Any ABS lights? ABS will make the pedal pulsate. Does it pulsate evenly regardless of speed, or does it slow down as the truck slows down?

No lights. The truck shakes at all speeds. really rough at 60 mph but not as rough at lets say 25 or 30 mph.

did you replace the rotors and the calipers at one time? Reason I ask is if you had started by replacing the rotors with a sticky caliper it could quickly warp your new rotors with the heat.

If you then changed your calipers, you would have the problem even though you have fixed the problem. Do you see?

I replaced everything at once but the passenger side rotor. I then replaced that probably 50 miles after cuz it idn't look bad enough to change but the pulsating still won't go away

You might try to find someone with a professional scanner to look at the ABS , flow , codes ect. , it could also be something like the shocks getting old , a flap of rubber inside of one of the brake hoses .

It could be something a lot easier than ABS. Check the mounting surface behind the new rotors for dirt or rust. Anything that causes the rotor not to be flush will give you a pulsation. Also, check the torquing of the wheels. Are you tightening the lugs in the prescribed star pattern and to the right spec? I've seen these issues come up before(I was a mechanic for 10 years) When the brakes pulsate, is it in the pedal or do you feel the vehicle surge? A surging feeling usually indicates that the rear drums/discs are not true, throught the pedal is the front. I hopew this post helps out.
