Heater core removal?

Heater core removal?
My 2000 has a new (maybe 6 month old now) heater core that was installed by a small shop. They are gone now and the core is trailing a small amount of fluid here and there, not a significant amount but annoying all the same. The gear indicator is also disconnected. Haven't taken the dash apart on this truck before and would be interested in any advice or suggestions.

Heater Core
My heater core is doing the same thing, going to do the job myself. Go to Youtube and type in (Dodge heater core replacement), there's a guy that videos it step by step, dosen't look hard just time consuming. Good Luck

That's a good video description. My core is reasonably new but has a leak all the same. My blender door actuator is not quite right either - door is flopping with no blending ability. Gotta check my ac evap core while I'm in there. Until then just gonna carry a double male hose fitting and a couple of hose clamps just in case. Thanks for the tip.
