heater core

my heater core is going bad. Is this something i can fix, or is it easier to take it to a shop?

it's a pain in the butt to do it yourself, but there is a fairly easy method of doing it.

before you do the swap go to a cummins dealer and get the cooling system flush/cleaner. i did this and it made a huge difference in heat output. after the flush and refill procedure - i then changed my heater core and didn't notice a difference in heat output. i think i changed my heater core for no reason.

Might as well replace the Evaporator core while your in there.
