Headliner question

I have a 1996 3/4 ton & the good old headliner material is coming unglued, I was curious about 2nd generations like 2001 headliners, do they also have the same issue of the material letting go?
Thanks!

Unfortunately Yes. Mine started to unstick a while back. The foam finally delaminates from the weight of the fabric. Repairing it is like trying to save your favorite pair of underwear....

Headliner

When I bought my early 98 the headliner was blocking the view out of the drivers door window. It looked like something out of a horror movie. Went online and found an outfit if Fla that sold repair kits. Picked out the fabric and got the kit, It came with a large spray can of glue. Followed their online video and it has been trouble free for the last two years. Kit cost around $65.

I have seen every year 2nd gen they made with droopy fabric.

I also have seen a decent job done by truck owners pulling out, cleaning up, then spraying on glue [I have used the 3M product before] and laying down some new fabric.
Other times I just pull the whole headliner and run without it. Then it is just like ALL my '70s and early 80's Dodges are already from the factory.
