If I install an Edge Attitude w/juice, will My 03 Dodge Diesel,4x4, HD, Quad Cab, long bed, smoke?

 

should smoke some.

 

if it's anything like my 6.oho it smokes like a freight train on stage 5. but power was worthless when the tranny wouldn't keep up.

 

Thats weird, my buddy has an 04 6.0 and he had the superchips on it and that things smoked like a freight train. now he has the edge juice/attitude and even on level 5, there is no smoke. I am not impressed with the juice at all on his ford. I would say its the box but he sent it back and got a new one and it acts the same... superchips power was 20 times better than the juice. I wonder if it's the juice or the attitude messed up or if it's normal???

 

My friend has the Juice/Attitude on his 04 6.0L and on level 3 it will black out anything in the path of the exhaust pipe. On level 5 his trans starts to hate him and the people 3 miles behind him start to hate him.

 

If you have the stock air filter and your muffler still on, it will smoke. I have a stage II airfilter and straight threw exhaust and i blow out a little puff when i hammer down and thats about it. But I dont want smoke

 

Awwwww that makes sense now. when he got the juice installed they also installed the AFE II PG7 and complete 4" MBRP system...

 

Doesn't make sense to me, I have a 5" turbo back and AFE 2 Mega cannon and my 600 smokes like crazy on level 5. I do have the smoke and fuel turned all of the way up on low and high boost for level 5 though. I do ahve the EZ on it as well on level 1 all of the time because you can't turn it off but I don't think that makes any difference.

 

My "600" will smoke pretty darn good on level 5-5 if I drop the hammer. Smoked pretty good on level 4-4 today too when I blew past one of them "So-Powerful-It-Can-Lift-A-Semi 5.4L Triton F150s" doing about 85 with the foot to the floor

 

4x4 - Do you still have stock exhaust/intake.

 

Yes, for the time being. Those are next on my list. The only thing I have done is "swiss-cheesed" the bottom of the airbox and removed all the silencer crap. I will be getting a straight pipe and probably a Scotty V

 

Installed Edge EZ set on # 3 w/boost elbow. Also have a new torque tube ( Homemade ), and 4 in Flo-Thru muffler. NO SMOKE!!!!!! Didn't want any either. javahjoeo from Kokomo

 

I forgot about the settings... Does he have his smoke turned up in the menu. If not it wont smoke.



Personally I really loved seeing my black smoke turn to white while getting on the freeway. Nothing better than toasting a 6.000000000nnnnnooooooooo. but the bad thig was the $6000.00 repair bill I got stuck with!
