Headliner

I need a new headliner. Does anyone know where to find one at a good price. Dealer wants a $180 for a standard cab. Thanks
Heath

If you're replacing it because it's falling down, you can pick up the material from PepBoys for around 30 bucks, a couple of cans of spray glue, and replace it yourself in an afternoon.

Heck, If I can do it, anyone can........

I am in the process of doing mine right now. I bought the material from an automotive supply place. About $15 a yard. I need less than two yards for my '95 Club Cab. Remove the headliner from the truck, peel off the old material and remove the foam that stays stuck to the backing board with a wire brush. I used a wire brush on a drill and finished up with a manual wire brush. Spray glue on both the headliner and the backing board (I bought the stuff they supply with the headliner - $15.00) and when dry reinstall.

One word of caution, make sure the material you buy is WIDE enough. I bought some that was 54" wide but it isn't covering all the way across so I am waiting till tomorrow to re-order some that is 60" wide. I don't know if a 1st Gen is any narrower.
