Headlights

So I changed my headlights the other day and now the bright blue light in the dash always stays on, with only regular lights in the headlights. I hit the switch to turn on the bright lights and the blue light still stays on with the bright lights. If I turn off my lights and turn the fog lights on the blue light goes away. Any clue here. 2000 Ram 2500

Mine kind of does the same thing since I put on the hi/low kit except sometimes if I have it on High with the fogs (both high and lows and fogs on) it won't dim unless I turn off the fogs. Oh well, I'll just live with it.

Are you sure you got the right number for the light. One time I changed one of mine with the same # but it had letters behind it because they were supposed to be brighter and it did the same thing as yours. I put the right # one in and it worked fine then. I don't know if there wired different or what but it was a pain to try and figure it out.

I can't remember exactly, but I put my headlights on relays and it done the same thing. I fixed it by pulling out the foglight relay and installing a jumper. The reason your lights are doing that is because of feedback through the fog lights.

Do a search on fog light mod or fog light jumper. I think you'll be able to find the answer. I hope this helps
