head light switch flickering

head light switch flickering

My head light illumination flickers on and off when I go over a bump. Is the light getting burnt out, am I shorting, just started happening. sometimes goes off till I hit dash or another bump.

the headlight switch on the dash is notorious for failing. All of the voltage for the lights goes through the switch instead of using a relay to handle the power. The switch will get pretty hot in normal use. Check for melted wires or loose connectors as well

Okay. I only notice it get warm if I'm using my fog lights so I'll check into it

i agree, its most likely the headlight switch. my just went out a few days ago. i had to drive around for a while holding my brights on because none of the headlights would work, even switching to brights didnt work. could be a loose connection tho

took it apart doesn't flicker anymore but, now my fog lights wont come on so i guess i'll have to go to the pick n pull and get a new one
