Grille Chrome

How many guys have chrome peeling off of their grille? I noticed a couple of weeks ago that mine is starting to buckle the chrome on both the right and left upper corners of my '99 and did a search and found nothing on this. Anyone else? I'll see if I can photo it and attach it.

Re:Grille Chrome

Yea, mine is doing that too. I just figured it was because of the age of my truck ('96).
Tom

Re:Grille Chrome

One of my 95's has had the grille chrome coming off for about 2 years. THe other is perfect. But the 2nd one spent the first 5 years of it's life in the garage.

You can get new ones on e-bay. I think about $100.

Re:Grille Chrome

If anybody could get all their chrome off their grill, I would trade them even up for my chrome one!! I want to strip mine and paint it. or find a un-painted one.

Re:Grille Chrome

I was hoping the rest of the paint would fall off the rest of the truck then I could paint it green or black like I wanted in the first place. :-[

Re:Grille Chrome

I've seen new aftermarket replacement grills on Ebay for $35. Tail lights were $20.
