Getting wax off door molding

Waxed my truck last weekend and got wax on the black door molding. The wax turned the molding a light color. Anybody know how to get this stuff off?

check out www.perforamncetruck.com and/or www.hotrod.com (I'm not too sure of that last one). Anyways they sell this product that take left over old wax off of everything.

EDIT: Well this more of an update. One of the above sites was wrong. It's www.genuinehotrod.com and the product is Wax Blaster.

I let it dry and use an old toothbrush and some water. Seems to work great for me. If I can't find an old toothbrush, I just use the wife's...

Ok. Thanks all for your tips. I'll try the peanut butter way first. If that doesn't work, I'll try the paint store.

I worked in a paint shop for a while, we used Tolulene as a wax and grease remover, seemed to work great for that and cheaper too. You should be able to buy a quart from a regular paint store.

I sprayed brake cleaner on mine, and wiped it immediately off. That worked well.

I just buff out the wax with a micro-fiber cloth. It works fine for me. For the mirrors, I use Mother's back to black. This works, but you have to you allot and it takes a while to work.

Ok. Update. I was out in the garage looking around and decided to try some carb cleaner on the wax. Sprayed some on a rag and buffed it a little. Took it right off. I'll use this from now on.

Thanks for all your replies. Mark
