Door Molding
I was wondering if anyone else has had the door molding wear out from the door rubbing on the molding. This is by the front of the door, were the bend in the window frame starts. Is there a fix for it? I have not gone back to the dealer as I don't want them to rip off the factory molding if the replacement is going to do the same.

There are thousands of us with this problem, and yes there is a TSB out to correct it with a new design. I had the new design installed and it still wore/ripped out.

If your truck is still under warrenty get it fixed for FREE. Why ignore it, when DC will repair it, it's a known and documented issue. Here is a site that list all the TSB's for CTD's. May as well get them all done while you're there. http://dodgeram.info/
When you go in for service have the TSB # and "Your" description of the problem you are having as related to the TSB or print out the page describing the TSB and provide it to the Service writer and also included "Your" description of the problem. Other wise if you just walk in and ask to have this done they will say you must be having an issue related to the problem before we can do anything.
Good luck
P.S. Fill out your signature so we know what ya got.

I had mine changed the other day. New design works great, and I'm very happy.
Perhaps this is revision two, if the original and the first revision still weren't working?
