Fuse Location

Can anyone tell me which fuse is tied to the brake controller and where it is? Is it on the side of the dash or under the hood? Does anyone know what size and/or position it is. I believe it is supposed to be a 40 but I don't seem to have one marked as 40. I have the usual smaller ones, two larger ones that I believe are 20s and one large blue that is definitively marked. I also have a couple of spots that look like they are missing fuses.

I have looked everywhere for a fuse box diagram, when I bought my truck I didn't get a manual and the dash fuse box cover is missing. I even looked through the repair manuals that AutoZone and Advance sell and found nothing. A search on here and on Google didn't turn up the results either. Thanks.

Seems that I recall that my trailer plug wasn't working after I put my controller in. If I recall correctly, there's a fuse under the hood that was blown. Hope this helps.

Do you remember if it was a normal little fuse or a larger one?

not sure on te brake controller, but there are 2 fuses underhood, big square ones that are for the trailer wiring and connector, i would check there, they are labled on the underside of the cover also.

Thanks for the help, I found the right fuse and replaced it. My new Prodigy works great. It really is all it is cracked up to be.
