Cigarette Lighter Fuse Location

I plugged a light into the power outlet in my truck this week that blew the fuse. Both the power outlet and the cigarette lighter no longer work. I can't seem to find the location of the fuse that supplies power to these. Does anyone know where it is located?

Thanks
HL

Open the drivers door and look at the side of the dash up and to the left of the parking brake on the outside edge of the dash, 20amp fuse runs both the power socket and the ciggarette lighter. Goodluck,,Rick

That was the 1st place I looked but none of them are labeled cigarette lighter or power plug. I was looking for burnt fuses in the 10 and 15 amp fuses thinking the power draw would not be that big. I'll have another look at the 20 amp fuses in there.

On the inside of the cover is the diagram where everthing is. If it is not missing??If it is there do not feel bad as several take it off and set it aside and never look at it. It also has spare fuses. Goodluck,,Rick

Just checked again. I think I may have been suffering from temporary blindness. The fuse diagram had it very plainly labeled.

Anyway, I replaced it and everything is fine.

Thanks alot...
