Front Caliper
About the only trick to removing the caliper is to loosen the brake line before you remove the two bolts that hold the caliper on. The brake line can be stuck on pretty good, having the bolts hold it rather than your hands is much easier. I always use a flare nut wrench on the brake lines rather than risk striping out the nut flats with an open end wrench.
Well, I took a look at the front brakes yesterday. Everything looked good ..... plenty of pad, rotors smooth, calipers worked OK and no leaks.
Why am I still getting an intermittent pull to the right when I stop? Does NOT having the speedo recaled when I went to 285's have anything to do with it? Some say not doing the recal will effect the ABS system.

I pulled and tugged on everything under there and all seemed aligined and tight. If it was the track bar, wouldn't it do it all the time?
I've been meaning to ask you where you are in Montana. A few years back, I was up around the Libby area for a few days. I sure was nice......but then again, it was summer time.

The way to check the trackbar is to crawl under and have someone else turn the wheel back and forth while you watch the driver's side end of the bar for movement. If you see any movement it's bad. Bad trackbar doesn't always pull all the time.
