Re:Front Brakes
You shouldn't take the brake pads apart- but maybe dynamite would work.
I usually just change the pads, using tools, hands, feet and some beer. ;D

Jack up, wheel off, two hex bolts on the inside of the caliper, slide away caliper, throw away old pads, push back piston, put in new pads, slide on caliper, tighten bolts, wheel on, jack down. Re:Front Brakes
Just a small addition to Alpine's post.
When you push the caliper piston back, loosen the bleed screw to prevent pushing crud in the lines back into the master cylinder or the ABS control valves.
You'll loose a tiny bit of fluid, but save a large repair bill.
Also, I like to hose down the rotor with Brakeclean before putting the wheel back on.

Ed

Re:Front Brakes
Don't forget to clean the caliper mounting surfaces upper and lower both on the caliper and the mounting frame on the truck with a wire wheel or piece of sand paper. I wire wheel those surfaces to clean metal and put ever so light a coat of grease on the two surfaces. Helps the calipers slide better.
