I have 200 gallons of diesel in 55 gallon drums. The drums were plastic and had no signs of contamination. I filterered the diesel and added 30 gallons to my tank. Now my truck is idleing a little rough. I Know I know thats what I get for trying to penny pinch. The diesel was about one year old but smelled fine. Any recomendations on what fuel additive to use??

I would use Power Service Diesel Clean. Adds centane and I think thats your problem. I've seen diesel that sat so long a torch wouldn't light it.

You might also want look ( do a google search) at PRI Diesel. They claim to restore old fuel with their product.

Don't know, a lot of parts houses carry it, also sometimes Wally World and most any truck stop.

I think the QT says it treats 100gal but I would put at least 1/2 a QT in it every time.

I've seen 96 ounce jugs of it in our local Wally World so I imagine it's easy to find elsewhere.
