Its a 99 ram 2500 factory fogs. Right when i bought the truck about 3 weeks ago the fog lights didnt work- so i brought it back and the dealer fixed it they said the worked on the switch and got them to work. Well i was visiting a buddy last weekend and noticed the lil green indicator light wasnt on . I have checked all the fuses and they are all good, bulbs look good. So tonight i pulled the multi function switch out- seems like they are a common failure point.

Well i got the switch all torn apart, The long blue tube with a lil light on the end is burnt bad and the bulb is cracked. And of course all the lil pieces fell out when i opened the case up. I got the 3 springs and the 3 rollers back in place. BUT where does the lil "S" shaped connector go???????? im guessing thats the thing that turns the fogs on correct??

I need help here guys. Can i fix this switch??? or should i just go get a new one? do dealerships have them in stock? or is this an order in kinda part??

I love this truck and wanna get these fogs working good.

Might as well get a new one if the bulb doesn't work anymore and it's burnt.

I just bought a new switch when mine quit a few years ago and haven't had any problems since. Must have been an upgrade.
