Fog lights issue?

Hi,

I thought I'd upgrade my fog lights with some Bosche ones and I hooked them up wrong so I thought I at worst blew a fuse, but I have checked in the cab and the box under the hood and all are good but no power is on the wires when I turn them on in the cab. The light in the cab lights up but nothing..

I also swithed the relay in under the hood with the horn and it works..?
Dis I fry a wire over the fuse? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I am just wondering if the original lamps were a Mopar kit installed by the dealer when the truck was new (as opposed to being factory installed). If so, they may have just installed an inline fuse under the dash, or under the hood somewhere and you haven't found it yet.

Thanks torquefan for the input. I think it is a factory install as the wiring goes into the main bundle and it looks factory.
will have to dig deeper into the wiring though I hope it is not in the dash so well it probably is.
The switch on the dash still lights up when I press it and both fuses are ok,
kinda strange.

Do you get power to the fog light circuit at the relay? from that you know if its after the relay or not as far as an open circuit.

Thanks for your input the relay was ok but the small power wire that the relay uses to switch the lights was the problem. All fixed now.

Glad to hear.. Lots of fun with those kinds of gremlins. Nothing a good day with a DVM and some suds doesn't fix.
