Angry Electrical problems

I have to replace my multi function switch. Does anyone know how to remove the tilt steering lever? Secondly, my parking brake light has become illuminated in the dash cluster since last Friday evening. My brakes seem to be operating as normal as ever, however I did notice the light go off once and my speedo started to jump around then went back to normal and the light came back on. Does this that the rear speed sensor has crapped out and needs replaced or is the ebrake switch gone? All fuses have been replaced just in case, but no change.

Thanks

The tilt steering lever can be removed by using an adjustable wrench on the small flats near its base. The rest would be hard to diagnose online without more detail and some troubleshooting.

Unfortunately my lever is all round stock right to the point of attachment. With all the multi function switchs that been replaced by members, surely somebody must remember how the tilt lever is removed.

Thanks

Every one I have ever worked on has been threaded in. Wrap a small peice of duct tape around it and gently turn it w/ pliers. It should turn counterclockwise to loosen.
