drw rear fender removal?

i was thinking of converting my truck to a single rear wheel and was woundering if anyone has taken off the rear flair? i know the box is cut so it would look funny. but i was woundering if a rear bushwacker flair would cover it? or is it not that close that you could do something like that??

Its cut out a lot, and there is a big hole where the fuel filler neck runs through. Some new bedsides would fix that, but thats not exactly cheap.

You can kinda see how much is cut out of the wheel well in this pic. As well as the holes were the Dually Fenders mount through, the holes that the electrical harness run through. And obviously the filler neck hole on the other side as well. Here is a picture of my Dually box with the fender removed.

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
I can probablly supply a quality (SRW) bed assembly for $500 - $1000 dollars. Just add paint. Six bolts, 4 men, 8 beers, bed changed. Shipping is the problem. No cando to Canada. This is a lot easier than trying to make a dually look right. You can even sell the dually bed for more. Seen the price of fenders for those giants.

Oh Sorry Redneck-Welding, I didn't convert my box over to SRW. I posted that picture so you could see what the wheel wells looked like, as well as some of the holes that you would have to cover up. (I'm just cleaning my box all down and getting it ready for paint).

Personally, I don't think the little fender holes would be a problem, it would just be "rebuilding" the wheel well and the filler neck hole that would be the hardest. But then again I suppose you could just weld in a piece for the filler neck and possibly the wheel wells.
