Today I was coming down the Mountain on the dirt road that was 9 feet wide, came around a blind corner and was hit by a dump truck. I want to pull the finder off and tap the dint then sand the yellow paint (my truck is green) and use some primer. I will paint it later on so do you guys have any suggestions or tips on this job for me, or the primer that I should use? Thanks guys

if its very bad at all replace it, you can get onr for around $100, not worth the time to mess with much

 

Do not primer it only! Primary actually draws in water causing it to rust under the primer. If you go this route you should atleast throw a layer of krylon on top of the primer as a moisture barier. It can always be sanded down later for a real paint job.
