Driver's side fender needing replaced....
I was wondering if anyone has some info on taking off a fender and replacing it. Its the drivers side fender....mine's all dinged up. Have a new clean one, just been putting it off. I am not good at electrical and its got wires all over it. Just wanted to know if anyone had some good tips before a weekend job could turn into a week job. I looked in the sticky, couldn't find any info, but maybe I didn't look right. Thanks for the help.

well, never let a guy say its easy....but got her swapped. Luckily the grill was already cracked and broke from the previous damaged fender(luckily?) so I didn't have to take the grill and bumper off....the new fender is from an older pickup, so it was a little different....there was some wheel well damage and some front end damage(by the grill), so getting it in was a beast, and I think the newer fender was bent up a little....so it was a beast getting it all in and lined up....had to drill a bunch of new holes to reattach stuff but it all worked out.
Here's a fender removal tip for everybody in the rust belt states which I have used many times.
The bottom rear most fender bolts that are down by the front of the door have a very nasty habit of breaking those cheapo clip nuts during removal that Chrysler used. The easiest method that I have found to remove them at this point is to take a high speed 4" grinder and buzz the bolt head(s) off. Then the fender just wiggles off the remaining bolt with the bolt falling out the rear side. This saves the heat warpage and paint damage on a good fender or cab normally caused while using a torch.
