OK How do I get my driver side fender off?

I just bought a new one and have taken every bolt off. I dont want the tire well to come off just the side fender. Is it tack welded or what.

Yep....Its tack welded to the fender. You have to remove the fender with the well.I replaced fenders on my truck last year...Had to drill out each tack to install the inner fender well to the new fender...Didn't weld it,just used sheet screws...Post again if you need any help...

Thanks Diesel Dave thats what I didn't want to hear, but needed to know. Now I can take them off and drill out the welds and maybe bolt the old well to the new fender.

Yes it will take a little time to drill out the spot welds..What I did was use a air body saw and cut along the old fender(don't cut the inner well)just to make the job easier...Its a big piece and getting rid of the fender first helped in drilling out the welds...

I was able to leave the inner wheel well in place and use an air chisel to split the tack welds. Then I just straightened out the well and welded the new fender to it. You could still also use rivits or screws if you don't want to weld upside down.
