My '99 had one break on me today, without that much weight on it. (maybe 200lb?)

I've never had a cable that thick break before..

I bought them for only $28 CDN from the dealer.....didn't think that was too much $$ ?

 

I bought mine of of ebay. $15.00 for both

 

I've seen 'em hanging on the HELP! rack at Autozone, forgot what the price was, though.

I got mine from an auto salvage yard and they were new in the package. The one that hadn't rusted through was stretched so I replaced both. There's was half price of what the dollarships were. I need a 2-nd job to supppppport the fixing of this 99 3500 4x4 5 spd do-g- cumins excrement. The problems that they gave me are going to cost me transmission and transfer case and probably rear dif as well. I don't make enough a year to spend alllllllll the money nessecary to find a competent dollarship. Especally now that I am looking for exacting specifications to fix thais junk!!!!!

I got mine at autozone...in the help section.

but look closely. there was 2 diff part numbers, but the same cable. 1 was 15 each, the other was 7 each.

guess which ones I got....
