Difference btw Bosch alternator & Denso

I just picked up a Bosch alternator from a 24 valve. It has a plug fitting where the two field posts are my old Denso 12 valve alt.

I hav an external regulator so is it the same connection--just run the field wire from the regulator to any one of the plug pins and ground the other pin??

THANK

I put a Leece Neville on my truck... it was alot cheaper than what the OEM alt cost ! and will put out 160 amps and im guessing thats hot amps.. its almost double the size of the case on the OEM alt..

THe new bosch was $50 so I went with that. I hear the "plug" will work like the studs once I get the wires connected..
