Question Debadge gone wrong.

Today I debadged my truck of the ram 2500 emblems and under them were a bunch of small bubbled paint, there was even a couple paint chips.
So my question is, should i put the badges back on. and if so where can i get the adhesive.
or is there any thing else i could/should do?

also what could of caused these bubble and has any one had this happen to them

same thing happened to me when I used fishing line..no heat

it seems that some of the trucks had the emblems applied with a strong adheasive glue a few drops along the emblems...(were yours black in color??)

what I did was find a paint shop, wait untill closing time and approached the painter's, I asked if they wanted to do an easy side job...they were very willing especially in this market...both sides emblems and that black door stripe painted and blended for 150 bucks...

basicly they blended the emblem area and then shot the whole bottom of the door and first part of the rear quarter pannel where the black stripe (plastic door protector stuff) is.

might want to try that,if you really want to have them off...or just re-apply them with 3m adhesive foam tape...

I didnt have my paint blister but i did end up scraching it a little while getting all the glue off. I replaced mine with 3rd gen badges to cover up the small scratches yet still give it a unique look.

opops sorry im on my brothers account, I did that with my 2nd gen.
