Dark sludge coming from A/C floor duct

Hey all, I'm new to the board but not new to having problems with my truck. It is a 1995 3/4 ton with about 130,000 miles on it. The problem of the day is a leaky A/C or heater however a search of the forums hasn't helped me yet. Maybe you can? There appears to be a duct under the dash (passenger side) near the stick shift. For a while it has been leaking this black sludge mixed with green that ends up staining the carpet. The other day after running the A/C on high for a bit, the sludge just starting coming out and now there are "streamers" stained into the carpet from it.

I service the truck regularly and try not to neglect anything, but I'm not very savvy with this stuff and have to take it to the dealer or mechanic. The A/C has been flushed and serviced and other than the leak it runs fine. Any thoughts?

Makes me think of a leak at the core bringing the dirt out of the pan and duct with it. I am not too savy on this area either so I hope you get a more knowlegable answer.

Does it smell like antifreeze? It could be a heater core leak. Or if it only happens with the air on and you think it is just plain water, It may be the AC condensor is draining back into cab. My 99 was doing that. There is a small drain that goes through the firewall and on the 99's there is no hose that connects to it and it comes back into the cab.

You say you had the A/c serviced before. Did they put any dye in it? Maybe your evaporator is leaking and the water is mixing with a little dye from the evaporator and leaking on the floor.
