The little green light on the Cruise control button on the left side of the steering wheel has gone out.. Is there a bulb in there?? how do I get at the bulb to get it to light again?? or is there a fuse for it ??

You have to take the switch apart and solder a new bulb in.
Don't know the type but I'm sure the dealer can't tell you.
They'll want you to buy the entire switch set.
Or you can be like pre '97, they had no light.

It's a led. Anything around 3 volts in an led will work, just get the polarity correct. Green led from radio shack. Careful taking the switch apart, the plastic can be brittle. KD

On the bottom and backside of the steering wheel itself, there are two screws that hold the cruise control switches in place. They point towards the driver. Unscrew those and pull the switches out. They will come out as one piece. Unplug the connector behind them and then see if there's a way you can pry the plastic open to get to the LED.

That was one thing I always hated about my dodge and liked about my ford company truck. Now I find out I just have a burnt out bulb and to think all these miles in the dark
