On the door jamb, where the 2 bolts hold the lock assembly in, the door frame is cracking.
Can i just pull the bolts out and weld it back up. I assume the longer i go, eventually i will get into the truck one morning and not have a door that stays shut.

if you have tapered bolts throw them away and get bolts with a washer head,go to a wrecker, most caravans have them and are the right legnth.
