P1475 Aux. 5 Volt Output Too High

A couple(or more) starts after grounding it will probably make the code go away.

Check engine light stuck on

I went to install my edge comp untapped and forgot to ground it, when I started it it threw a 1475 and a 0238 code. Now my check engine light wont go away. I left the batteries unplugged all night with the key on trying to drain the memory. Is it normal for the light to stay on, with the codes set?

It should turn itself off after a few restarts.
However the code will still be stored.
Your local auto parts chain might be able to clear the memory for you.

Phox, where is your source for codes? The source I use for DTC's said the 1475 DTC was some obscure BMW DTC!?!? Just curious.....don't imagine that I will bother with that source again!

First I check here:
https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...n&onlynewfaq=1

Then if that one doesn't have it, or I need a second opinion, I check here:
http://www.troublecodes.net/chrysler/96-01.shtml

Then if I'm still confused, I check here:
http://www.troublecodes.net/chrysler/99-01trk.shtml

Usually I believe the code is correct if 2 or more of the above agree on the definition.

There's still the odd one that neither of the three list, then I just do a google search on the code untill I find 2 or more pages that agree.
