Cheapest Real Trackbar Fix?
#16
I went to the local autozone and bought a bar with a lifetime warranty for $129.99. There fairly simple to install as well. I bought the luke links but couldn't get them installed on my old bar I took out. Apparently the old bar was not rebuildable so I gave up went to autozone and installed it. Night day difference. No more death wobble for me!

Keep in mind- the "lifetime Warranty" means different things at different stores and different manufacturer's.
TRW's lifetime (through one nation wide chain) is ONE replacement piece if the piece wears out in the lifetime of owning the vehicle.
Other warranty's could be the lifetime of the part (when it's worn out, it's past it's lifetime...)
Before just buying a lifetime warranty part, read that warranty!

Mopar-or-no-car, yes that's what I've got, the 2nd gen version. About 1 in 4 trucks will be able to take the 2nd gen bar. Its a pretty tight fit but mine just clears the diff. Don suggested extended bumpstops as a safety measure but I haven't found any yet. I'll probably end up fabbing some extensions.
Ellerman, We rocked the heck out of my truck and there is no movement in that heim joint at the frame or at the axle.
I think the DSS steering stabilizer truss is a good idea as it helps keep the frame from flexing during steering and spreads the load across both frame rails.
