Well the new alternator has been on for a couple weeks now and no problems.

Nothing further to add. Just came in to say this brought back memories of working in Dad's shop when I was a kid.

He specialized in auto electrics and carburetors from the late 40's into the 90's when he passed away. I rebuilt many starters, magnetos, generators and alternators during my high school years. And became a fair hand at general gas engine tune up.

Didn't know anyone rebuilt starters and alternators now.
