Cab Marker Lights
Cab Marker Lights
I was curious if it would be more trouble that it's worh. My 01 didn't come w/ amber cab lights (for the roof), and the truck just dont look right without em!
A buddy of mine told me that I should be careful about installing them cuz he would be concerned about water seeping into the cab from the holes drilled for the lights
Is ther a way I cant get these lights installed by myself or professionally w/o having to worry about this?? Or should I jus forget about em?

OEM lights are as close as your dealer's part counter. Just order the kit and your good to go.
I have the set sitting here, finally going to get around to installing them this spring. Helped a few guys install them on their trucks and it's not a big job at all.

I installed OEM clearance lights for my '02. They were easy...the worst part of the install was that it was about 20 degrees out....the wind was blowing..I didnt have gloves...and I was outside.
Took a couple hours (due to my hands going numb) it was a piece of cake.
There are before and after pics in my gallery.

If your going to put them in the stock place you don't need a template. At least on my truck anyway. When you pull the headliner there are already places that look like punch outs in the bottom of the roof. We just drilled up through them and it looks stock.
