o.k. I just got done putting cab lights on my truck, they look nice, makes it look like a truck!! it was simple as pie! got them tied into my light switch and every thing, Now, the only thing is - I have to take them back off because I decided I am going to repaint the whole truck black! > to many rock chips on the truck, and a little rust on drivers door- along with the spot between the cab and box that was fixed and the front clip, i figured I would spend the extra money getting the whole thing done! ;D

 

can't you just tape 'em off and paint around? ???<br><br>Tony

 

nah, just somewhere else for paint to flake off! not a big deal to take off.

 

yea deffinately take them off. especially when doing a color change. can i ask y u decided on black and not stay silver ??? r u painting under hood ,bed,door jambs... just curious is all..post pics when done ok .....scott

 

Did you use the Mopar lights? If so, how well did the template work? <br><br>I want to put cab lights on my truck, but really dont like the idea of drilling into my roof.

You can get a kit from the dealer for about 80-90 bucks, and it comes with a templete and everything you need. Very easy job to do.
