i have 96 dodge 3500 4x4.does anyone
make brake lines for this truck?the ones
i'm talking about are the 3 under the
master cylinder.2 of them go to fender,
1 goes to a fitting under the master cyclinder.
the other ends go to left front wheel well.
dealer don't sell them,junkyard don't sell either.
i would buy some good used ones.

If you can find a hose maker, they can make you some. There is a shop here that does all sorts of custom lines for all types of things. They are mainly industrial and oil, but they do brake lines, a/c lines, power steering - whatever.

I am looking for stainless brake lines at the calipers. Does anyone know where I could source these?

I agree thats the best stuff available today. Its worth it to buy or borrow the double flare kit and just make them yourself. Just to warn you if you have the abs block on your truck up near the master cylinder the threads strip easy... dont ask me how i know lol I just bypassed it anyway..

Walt, I've been thinking of doing the same to my 94, what were the repercussions of bypassing this expensive to replace PITA? Any setup changes to anything?

thanks for that. For the most part I find ABS is for those who can't seem to drive. Lived without it for years, hasn't worked in this truck for a long time and I'd love to lose the light on the dash.
I'll give it a try.
