Brake lights stayed on, now nothing but the thrid light???

In the last two days my brake lights have stopped working. I few days ago I was towing a trailer and noticed that the brake lights on the truck stayed on even with the foot off of the pedal. Now I have no brake lights on the truck or on a trailer, The third light does work? I checked all of the fuses, the switch works ( third light comes on), I cut the trailer plug off in the back because it was corroded. I redid all of the wiring going into the plug in the bed. I have looked all over to and problems and have not found any. Any idea’s???

If the '02 is like earlier model the brake light switch has two sets of contacts.
Only one set could be bad.
I don't bother testing a bad brake switch, just throw a new one in.
$12 at Napa.

I am hoping someone will have a had a problem like this. I have tested everything I could think of. I can put power to the wires going to the back and the lights light up. I have switch power at the brake controller which I have unhooked. Both blinkers work. The tail lights work. I can only think that it might be were the wires from the blinkers and the brake switch meet and turn in one wire. I don’t know where this is. My wiring diagram is pretty unclear because I have more wires than list. Anyone have a wiring diagram that is better?

It turned out to be the Turn Signal Switch. Replacing that fix my problem. cheaper than a shop at $60
