body?

will a second gen body bolg onto a first gen frame? I have a first gen but i want more creature comforts and i have it apart so i figured if i can get it to bolt up why not! the only reason that i don't want to get a newer truck is because i have 1 ton axles and the frame is stronger. it just happens to be that i want to move snow and put a dump bed on it. any ideas or suggestions?!

This would not be a bolt-on proposition.
Could it be done? Sure, with enough time/effort/money, you could do nearly anything.
If I were doing something this involved, I'd do the opposite.......put a 1st Gen body on a 2nd Gen frame. The 2nd Gen frame is roughly 150% stronger and would be a far better base to use.
Whatever you decide, keep us posted, and remember....post the pics!

funny you mention that the second gen frame is stronger because i have heard the exact opposite. i was told by an auto body shop that has a frame straightner that the first gen frame is way stronger. where and who have you heard this from and also whats the reasoning behind this point of view???!!!
