blowing but no air

I have a 2000 2500 4wd.

Transfer pump went out and replaced today - purring like a kitten with all the power once again.

I do not know if I did something or just happened at same time.

I have been having problems with blower motor sometimes not blowing air. I usually turn it off, drive a couple of miles, and she is working again. Normal for Dodge.

After pump repairs today, blower is working fine but no air coming out. I can hear it blowing around in the dash and some of it is is exiting through defrost vents. Resorted to same trick of turning it off and driving a couple of miles -still same problem. Tried switching between a/c an fresh air -still same problem.

I believe I have electronic controls and not vacuum but not 100% sure.

Any ideas, tricks, or advice to get air coming out vents again. I believe the damper is closed but not sure.

Thank you for your help!!

If you don't have vacuum to the heater it will only blow through the defrost vents. Maybe you pulled a line loose while working on the transfer pump.

Yes, look for the hose left off or broken during IP replace.

Yeah, it's a vacuum line back along the firewall. Check to make sure all connections and plugs are in place, no loose tubes or holes....

i had a similar problem.

my vacuum line that runs along top the firewalll had a hole in it from rubbing against something. taped it up and a/c was back blowing through the vents.
