Bigger Brakes?

Going to need some brakes soon, and I kinda want bigger ones. For bigger rotors and pads what all will have to change, and does anyone know if there is a GOOD company that makes a kit, to do it. I have already got 17" wheels so there is some extra room in there.

If you change the hubs and the caliper brackets to the 2000 hubs and 2007 brackets, rotors and calipers. you will have late model brakes. search forum for big brakes and big brake update, I believe someone figured out how to do early trucks. I have the 2007s on my truck and love them, night and day difference.

find a wrecked 2002. my brakes are 200% better on my 02 than they are on my 98. I don't even like driving the 98 because of it.

On the 94-99 trucks, the knuckles are completely different, and have built-in caliper brackets. The newer knuckles can't be used, as the ball joints are different too. The only answer would be to substitute a complete front axle (with knuckles) from an 00-02 truck.
