hi
i will never have another truck without air bags !

airlift airsprings the h d ones bag no 5813 i believe 5000 lb rating .

with only 20 lb of air in mine and a open 2000 lb car trailer with a car on it 3800 lb it is perfect !
bags will hold up to 100 lb air psi .
i have them plumbed seperatly to reduce sway / roll !

Airbags all the way. Get the on-board compressor as well. You can adjust your ride height up or down from the cab of your truck. When empty, I run about 5 lbs in the bags and the ride is just fine. Never have a truck without them again.

I have never had airbags, but it struck me as I was making this decision a few weeks ago that anything full of air can spring a leak. I added a single heavy leaf to my stack and had the springs re-arched. Gained me about 2.5 inches and the problem is over for good. JMO

Depending on my tongue weight is when I use my bags, I don't like running more than about 500 lbs tongue weight. You might want to consider that when adjusting your bags when you get them, but yes, get bags for sure.

You could try Timbrens too. Cost less than bags, and there's no air to mess with. They aren't as adjustable to a load as bags, but they don't mess with your unloaded ride.

thanks guys I have a goose neck so tongue weight is not a issue I think I will go the bag route
I ran 2 extra springs in my 1/2 ton with a smaller trailer and they really didnt help much and Timbrens seem to be hard to find around here
