He's looking for a wider dually rim, which I don't think you're gonna find. I'm pretty sure they are all 6".

You can get aftermarket rims that are wider. I think Weld makes 8" wide dually rims. Or there are those rockstar rims, however atrocious they look. OEM wheels are 6". You could sqeeze a wide tire on there, but they won't wear well, and not all tire shops are gonna help you put a tire that wide on a wheel that narrow. Thats a big stretch.

Tate: You're wrong. There are no wider 16-17 dually wheels than 6.5" on the market.

19.5 are available with 7.5" wide.

I tried to look wider wheels for myself to my dually but I couldn't find any. So I bought 3rd gen stock wheels and I'm hoping to get those custom widened someday.

I have 37x12.5 -17 on my 3rd gen stock wheels.

Hmmm, we have a wood truck here, I'll have to get pics at some point.

It runs an aftermarket steel wheel, with spacers, and 315's on 16" wheels.

This unit is an 85 GMC, with a partial double frame, live hydraulic hoist, and various other little goodies, that add up to ugly. But it works, takes wood into places you really didn't want to be in the first place.

The only reasonable 37 tires what you can fit on a dually with good road manners are 17" . 37 is the tallest you can fit on a dually if you like keeping the width under 12.51"

pind:That dually has stock wheels. 6" wide or 6.5", you can see it clearly from the pic.

Erska, having bought and paid for the wheels, several years back when the tires were installed, I can assure you that although they appear stock, those are definitely NOT stock wheels. When the truck comes in this spring for the deck, I might take a measurement of them, just to see what they really are.

I just wish some one would make a tire around 35x8 so we could get taller tires on duallys
