Badges
My Right side badges are starting to come off and hanging on by nothing I really dont care about puting them back on But if i was going to leave them off what about the paint underneath. I've searched and everthing shows how to take them off just wondering about the wrinkling paint under them Its not bad but noticable. Thanks guys.

Badges... Badges.... we dont need no stinking badges.....
Just use some fishing line to cut the badges off and use a lil wd 40 and some elbow grease to remove the residue. A lil fresh wax in the area and all is good to go.

I pulled the badges and decals off my truck over the summer. After they were all off i clayed, polished and waxed the area and it looks fine. I have a little bit of fading but you can't tell unless you are really looking for it. I think a debadged truck has a nice clean look to it. Plus dodge isn't paying me to advertise for them. Heres two pics of the right side of my truck, I wish i had a good one of the tailgate after i debagded it.

Ok well I took them off and i have kind of a edge there at the end of the adhesive almost like there is no clearcoat. Any way to blend that. Its also a black truck. Blackdiesel, believe me I am the last person that likes to wash a truck, but a clean truck has a better image than a dirty one and since i haul I think its better for business. Thank for the help.

Clutch, I had a little bit of an edge on the letters on my tailgate. It is clearcoated under the letters. I had a friend at a body shop hit the areas with some very fine sand paper and wet sand it for me. After that he hit it with some polish and a buffer. It took the edge right off and was done in about 20 min.
