Anyone know the difference between cab and chassis and drw
I have a 96 DRW with a cummins, I cant find any company that makes a plow mount for this as they think it is too heavy with the diesel. My thoughts would be to get the mount for the cab and chassis model and bolt right up, but my brother says it wont work because he thinks the cab and chassis in that year and up have the axle going across the front. Any help or thoughts
Your bro is correct on the axle scheme - the cab-and-chassis gets the 4wd frame and suspension, but with a straight tube between the steering knuckles.
If you can use a fire-wrench and an arc-wrench, it ain't no hill for a stepper.

if you are 2wd then you may have to modify like GMCTD said but if your 4x4 it should bolt up. i'd watch putting a plow on a dually mine really sucks in the snow. i plow with a 1500 ram .i know guys say put alot of wieght in the bed and you'll be ok though. got my dually stuck in 2 inches of snow last rear (how embarrassing)
