Another rare one gone :( CRASH

Well Tuesday my girlfriend of 4 years totaled my truck
Luckily she is ok with a sore jaw, few cuts and scrapes from the airbag. Now the debating with the insurance company starts.

I needed to drive her car as it is a auto and I broke my back snowmobiling little over a month ago so the aftermarket clutch is a little to much for city driving. Super foggy and rain that morning.
Only 123K on the truck..

Not sure what I am getting yet....
Drove quite a few truck yesterday was thinking D max 04-05... Needs a box for sure. The 6.7 with the 6 speed is nice but I don't think I want to spend that much. 5.9 is loud and I am tired of the noise. Drove to new 1500 chevys one with the 5.3 the other with a 6.0 not bad. Drive the Tundra last and that is what I am leaning towards .
I know I know, I didn't think I would be impressed but the Toyota had much more power the the 6.0 Chevy and drove better than them and the toy has 30K miles.

Sure wish I still had my truck and wasn't in this situation.

WOW ! Glad to hear the GF is ok. One example i dont let my gf drive my truck unless im in it.

If i were you i would be searching for the same exact truck again. I wouldnt downgrade to a gasser. You Pretty much decided it for yourself on what you should get

Just think , you will be driving your TOY and a nice looking comes up along side ya and shows off, thats when you will be kicking yourself.

You could get a third gen if you dont like noise, they are VERY quiet compared to a 2nd gen.

Well I loved the truck. Had it since 60K miles and have done the mods myself. I drove the 3rd gen 5.9 yes quiet compared to the 12v 2nd gen but still loud unlike the D-max. Not sure yet, new Tundras are sweet and really don't pull anything heavy just 3500lb boat. Ride is great, power is great, fit and finish is great, resale is great etc...

Broken back so I have to consider ride and the dodge rides rough!
Thanks man

Also wish I still had it as I have four more payments on it. Looking forward to no payments!

Get a Duramax before you get one of those Yota's.Plus there ugly, and when you get the powerbug again you will want to get rid of it.
