Annoying Seat Belt light

This is kind of a stupid little thing but red lights blinking on the dash annoy the hell out of me. The wife's 2001.5 3500 has this little bug that causes the seat belt light to come on for no apparent reason while driving down the road. It goes away for a little while with a tug on the seatbelt, but eventually comes back again. And yes, the seatbelt is properly buckled/worn. Short of taking the dash apart and removing the lightbulb, any suggestions?

It's a LED, not a bulb...

Check the 2-wire plug coming off the seat belt buckle... I won't say what you could do from there, but you can figure it out..

Thanks Eskimo. LED, huh. I guess the two wires will get cut and either capped or spliced together, whichever resolves the problem.

Check the fuse. I had a problem where my seat belt would lock up every 30 minutes driving down the highway, open the door and keep driving for another 30 minutes and the same thing. light on, and lock up. Check the fuse. Its in the drivers compartment fuse block
